Dear Pastor,
Now that our summer has nearly come to an end, its time to look to the fall and share news with you about the unique opportunities offered by the Woodland Drive-In Church.
I would like to thank all of you have allowed me to borrow some of your church congregation, either for a brief or for an extended period. You see, one of my greatest joys is sending them back to you as they are able to attend a traditional worship service.
As you may know, Woodland Drive-In has never organized as a church, so my congregation numbers zero! Yet the guests who attend worship services here hold a special place in my heart, as many of them struggle with temporary physical and/or mental challenges. Our ministry at Woodland Drive-In is designed to provide a comfortable setting for anyone who is unable to
worship in a more traditional setting.
If you are aware of any of your congregation requiring special worship needs, please consider sharing the news of our ministry with them. We will warmly welcome your church members as they enter the parking area. They will then tune their car radios to 1610 AM for our 11:00 a.m. service (about 45-minutes in length). We will offer Gods Word through Scripture, sermon, prayer, and music. And we will rejoice as we witness Gods healing touch, when we say good-bye to your congregation members as they return to their home churches.
As always, you are welcome to attend one of our worship services, so that you may gain a first-hand experience of our ministry. If you have any questions, please contact me during the day at 698-3471 and in evenings at 235-2871.
In His Name,
Verlyn D. Verbrugge
